Day 0 Seattle, Washington

Seattle can't be beat as a point of departure for your Alaska or Pacific Northwest cruise. With downtown cruise terminals and convenient air travel connections, Seattle makes cruising fun and exciting both before and after your cruise.

Day 1 San Juan Islands, Washington

The San Juan Islands are an archipelago in the U.S. state of Washington known for rural Pacific Northwest landscapes and wildlife. The islands are famous for their resident pods of Orcas. San Juan Island is distinguished by the lively seaside town of Friday Harbor and Lime Kiln Point State Park, an orca-whale lookout.

Day 2 Inside Passage, Alaska

The Inside Passage is a coastal route for oceangoing vessels along a network of passages which weave through the islands on the Pacific coast of North America. Cruising is likely what will bring you to this region of temperate rainforests, glaciers, fjords, and coastal mountains.

Day 3 Inside Passage, Alaska

The Inside Passage is a coastal route for oceangoing vessels along a network of passages which weave through the islands on the Pacific coast of North America. Cruising is likely what will bring you to this region of temperate rainforests, glaciers, fjords, and coastal mountains.

Day 4 Ketchikan, Alaska

Ketchikan is known as Alaska's "first city" due to its location at the southern tip of the Inside Passage. It is the first city you reach as you cruise north, and for many visitors, their first introduction to the beauty and majesty of Alaska. You will not be bored in Ketchikan. With dozens of attractions designed to educate or entertain everyone from the history buff and the outdoor enthusiast to the naturalist or Native art lover.

Day 5 Captains Choice, Alaska

Lynn Canal or Chatham Strait, your captain makes the call. Either choice, go with the flow.

Day 6 LeConte Glacier, Alaska

LeConte Glacier, a 21-mile and 1-mile glacier in the Alaska flows southwest to the head of LeConte Bay. This leads to submarine calving, producing what are locally called shooters, icebergs that rise rapidly to the surface as far out as 1000 feet from the glacier's face.

Day 7 Frederick Sound, Alaska

Frederick Sound or Prince Frederick Sound is a passage of water in the Alexander Archipelago in southeastern Alaska. Frederick sound is one of the best environments in the entire world for studying and observing the feeding habits of the humpback.

Day 8 Sitka, Alaska

Sitka is a popular port of call for many cruise ships that sail the Inside Passage from May through September. The anchorage for large cruise ships is off shore, and smaller boats are used to tender passengers ashore to the Crescent Harbor Lightering Facility or the O'Connell Bridge Lightering Facility.

Day 9 Chichagof Island, Alaska

Chichagof Island, or Shee Kaax, is an island in the Alexander Archipelago of the Alaska Panhandle, nearby to Bell Island, Nelson Island and Soloma Point. One of the last grizzly strongholds, the dense rain forests of Chichagof Island in southeast Alaska hide more of brown bear per square mile than any other place on Earth.

Day 10 Glacier Bay, Alaska

Glacier Bay National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with many glaciers to see; past visitors rave about its scenery, which includes tidewater glaciers, glassy water, mountains and wildlife such as whales, harbor seals, otters and brown bears.

Day 11 Icy Strait, Alaska

Icy Strait Point is a privately owned tourist destination just outside the small village of Hoonah, the largest native Tlingit Indian settlement in Alaska. As one of the best places in the world to see whales, and a darn good spot to view bears, Icy Strait/Hoonah is among Alaska's most beloved destinations for wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 12 Juneau, Alaska

Juneau, often described as America's most unusual state capital, is the only U.S. state capital with no roads leading into or out of town. The city is surrounded by nature, forested islands, quiet inlets and coves, and rugged coastal mountain ranges provide the backdrop for unforgettable whale watching and wildlife viewing, photography, fishing, hiking, kayaking, or just sitting back, relaxing, and marveling at the majestic wilderness gliding past your view.
